Mrs. BH's first birthday.

How did Mrs. BH spend her first birthday? With 3 dinners, one high-tea, one cake cutting, one photo shoot and a hair raising mystery solved..

Lets start with the food bit. ( check out BH's blog for the full review)

Dinner 1: Was with my folks the day before. Having exhausted all avenues in getting fresh seafood for a homecooked seafood claypot dish, mum decided to take us out. So she made reservations at our usual place, Fullweath in KB. Our tummies were busting after the seafood, yam basket, 4 aces vege, cod fish and tofu dinner.

Dinner 2: My in laws also wanted to take me out and so, a dinner on my birthday, at Summer Palace, Marriot Putrajaya ensued. The journey there was extra long, since we decided to try the new highway..which detoured into Putrajaya before we could get to the Marriot. But dinner overall, good. The Peking duck could have been crispier, the ostrich was too tough ( so we got it changed to some prawn thing), but the sweet and sour chicken was good, as was the lotus root mixed vege..another busting tummy experience.

Dinner 3: BH, originally planned to wine and dine me on my birthday, but got his plans dashed by MIL...hehehehe. Anyway, we ended up dinig, but not wining, the next day. Instead of his original plan for dinner at some restaurant in KL, I had a fetish for Thai. We ended up at Sri Ayutthya, Medan Damansara. I think we ordered too much, despite what the waiter said ( no, no, enough for two). Yet another belly busting exercise of scallops cooked thai style, glass noodle kerabu, chicken green curry, tom yum thalay, pineapple fried rice, petai prawns and siakap thai style ensued. When we saw the table next to us order just fried rice for two, we knew we were in trouble. The food, though very good, was too much..heh. But this place, is fast becoming my favourite.

High tea: BH and I planned an apartment viewing on Sunday ( yea, we're actually looking for our own place), when his brother calls up and says he has vouchers for high tea at Eastin, which expire that very day. Since no one else was free, BH and I dragged my folks over for high tea. The spread was good, but the taste...not! Wouldn't go back again, free vouchers or not.

The cake cutting: Was working on my birthday, and after lunch, got a surprise cake-cutting/song singing by my staff..ended up blowing one candle too many and getting stuffed with chocolate cake. Thank God none of them went to SJI..birthday traditions carry from there..not pretty!

The hair raising mystery: Have you ever wondered if a certain politician's hair is real? I mean, the Elvis coif, extra high up front that still looks like a toupee? Yea, THAT minister..well, I found out! Was at the hair salon ( the famous one lar, in MV), getting a birthday cut, when I saw THAT minister walk in. He talked to the boss ( a much celebrated hair stylist) like they were old friends, and waited patiently for his turn ( it was a busy day). I wondered if the boss would actually do his hair..I mean, being famous herself, would she lend her name to his hair? Don't think that would be a good thing, actually! Anyway, sat for a while, and found out that yes, his hair is real, yes, he likes it THAT style, and no, the boss wasn't his stylist!

So there, that was Mrs. BH's first and most enjoyable birthday so far! Have to say, the last few days have been lovely..can't wait for 2008. And on that note,

The Saree and the luncheon...

When BH and I decided to get hitched, we originally planned just the registration, as we realised planning the whole shebang would be a mammoth task. However, our parents ( my dad mostly) wanted something more least a lunch for his relatives, so as not to confuse people. I can see his point, as he is very old-fashioned and he considers this the proper're married, tell people, have a makan..that kinda thing.

So, we haven't done the chinese dinner, or our wedding pics, but we've done the tea ceremony ( BH's parents decided we might as well kau-tim that too) and the lunch, on the 23rd of December. For those of you who feel left out, please understand, this was a lunch for close relatives and friends of my dad's and our neighbours...there's still dinner, sometime next year, ok?

It's also been quite a shock for my friends from KB, whom I could not invite for this one, cos they all saw the huge pink and white canopies and wondered what happened. Having come to the right conclusion, they now wonder, how come they weren't invited? One simple reason, once we invite you for the luncheon, we can't invite you for the dinner. So, we decided to invite some people for lunch, as awe catered food specifically for them and some we will invite for the dinner later.

Since I'm on a roll explaining the whole thing, might as well go the whole nine yards...some people ( this means you, Ben) think we might have had to "rush" the whole thing due to "unforseen" circumstances. Let me make it clear, the only person who's tummy is increasing in size is BH's, and that's because of me...I feed him what I can't finish, no, no kids yet. Heh.

Righto...down to best part...I'll let the pics speak for themselves..the saree was nice, thankfully, I didn't look like a fish wrapped in newpaper...check out the next post, almost a complete pictorial.

Pink canopies and cupcakes...

More pics thanks to BFC & LHDS...thanks guys, for coming all the hoping our plans for March will work out!!! Kekekekeke.

The memoirs of Mrs. Wong

A few people have asked, what it feels like, being married and all..a few have already started calling me by my married name...sounds a bit funny to me still, but I'm getting used to it! Hehehehe. Other than the fact that my left ring finger feels naked at the moment ( we sent our rings for minor adjustments yesterday), it's been good.

So far, I have inherited, overnight, another set of parents, a brother and sister in-law, a host of aunties and uncles and cousins, 2 nieces and a nephew. Can't wait to spoil the kids, they aren't mine, kekekeke ( evil laugh). It's gonna be fun being the nice aunt, who gives in to what the kids want.Hahahaha.

The downside is of course I no longer live with my folks, who must be missing me, though they do seem to be very busy of late. Oh well, it's an adventure, one I really am looking forward to.

Mrs. BH

At 10.59 Monday morning, I officially became Mrs. BH. Well, more like Mrs. BW, ie Mrs. Bernard Wong...kekekekeke. Am thinking if the name cards should be changed to Dr. Santhi Thambyrajah-Wong...just to confuse the heck out of people..face like Malay, but got Indian and Chinese name..heheheh.

The day began very, very early, at 4.30 am. Made tea, got dressed, by 6am, Wendy was at my door...with her camera at the ready. Wendikaa, the woman whom I am very very grateful for, cos she woke up at 5.15 am and spent the whole day with us, taking all our pics. Seriously, everyone says the pics are great and BH and I can't thank her enough. Woman, you have been there for me so many times, I really don't know how to repay you..much love from Bern and me!

BH arrived at 6.45 am, with the flowers and a huge smile on his face. I have never seen my BH looking so spiffy, he took my breath away.

We left by 7 am, it was just light out, the lotus in the garden had just bloomed and the birds were just awakening, chirping merrily. Adrian, BH's boss and good friend very kindly woke up just as early to be chauffeur, best man and door opener..thanks man! And so off we went to Putrajaya. We got there by 8 am, and got a number. There were 18 other couples getting married, and we wanted to be early so we could get the time we wanted. The auspicious time was between 10 and 12.30, so we asked for 10.30.

We had time to kill, and so had a light breakie, then spend some time taking "hmmph menyampah" photo's...kekekeke. At 10.30 or thereabouts, we went in, and both of us said goodbye to our single days. It was a simple ceremony, which began the moment everyone sat down and settled into the room. Everyone was our parents, BH's brother, sister in law, uncles, aunties, my dad's cousin, his grand daughter, my mums good friends, we took our vows. The whole morning, Wendy kept asking if I had butterflies, I said no, right until that moment. I could hardly breathe..almost teared up, but having BH at my side, I smiled, he smiled, and all was well.

And so, that's how I became Mrs. BH...still haven't quite gotten used to the idea..Mrs BH. Bh answered the phone yesterday morning, and he called me his wife..ehehehehehe...can't get enough of that.
It's a wonderful and strange experience for both of us at the moment . No doubt we have spent a lot of time together as a couple, but nothing can prepare us for living together. So far, it's been an adventure and every morning when I wake up, it's nice to see BH's face, still asleep, next to me.
Will post up more pics of the day later, once everything has settled in.

OMG I'm getting married!!!!

I'm typing this with manicured fingers, post a face mask that made me look like some kinda alien. Ok, so it was an SKII one, didn't look quite that bad. But anyway..

It's the day before D-day..BH and I can't see each other, the first time since we started going out that we're doing this if both of us are in town, on a work free day. So what's a bride to be to do the day before she officially gets hitched? Nothing much actually.

Had planned to watch some chick flicks, but was way too tired ( it's been a tiring few weeks actually) and I couldn't find THE chick flick, the one I could watch over and over again, just because. Plus it occurred to me that BH doesn't really mind chick flicks, so...when I do find THE movie, I can always watch it with him. Or, I can watch it alone, he still can have his Stargate Atlantis in the other room.

So I spent the day pondering on things...mostly the fact that from tomorrow onwards, I'll be known as Auntie Santhi. Serious. All BH's nephews and nieces and all the kids are gonna be calling me "Auntie". Shit. Me..auntie? You graduate from a young girl ( well, I'm no spring chicken but I'm not that old lah!) to auntie..older I mean elder, and who wears funny long skirts and dishes out stupid advise to kids, like " Don't hold your face in that position or it will stay that way!". And when one marries another, you don't just marry that person, you marry his family too. Which is about to make my life a whole lot more interesting, I'll bet! Heh.

So, the dress isn't perfect, neither is the ring..though I love them both, I can still see flaws. But, this girl realises it's not about the dress, it's not about the ring and it sure as heck isn't about the flowers. It's about two people, flawed as people are, deciding to enter another phase of life together and making a legal commitment of that. Sure, I really don't expect our marriage to be perfect, there is no such thing. But I am glad however that my BH, the other person in this, doesn't believe it's all perfect either. He knows my flaws, as I know his, and we're gonna work on this thing called a marriage, with all our heart, our soul and our spirit. Which incidentally is on our imperfect, very meaningful rings..heh. We shall post one on our rings..very cool, unconventional pair, just like us.

Wish us luck.

I'm getting Married!!!

Yea, no big news anymore lar..but heck...I'm getting married!!! It's HUGE thing...simple piece of blue letter but it's a huge step. Just the other day, BH asked me to buy him a shirt..and suddenly I realised that after all this, with that ring on my finger, I'm gonna have to look after another person in my life, my husband. Being the ever pampered sole daughter of a loving couple, all I ever had to think about for the last 30 odd years is ME...and now..must take care of BH..

Don't get me wrong, I love BH, with all my heart and soul, I just never imagined myself in this role of wife...hehehehe. But I'm not really quivering at the thought of my new responsibilities, cos I think, I might just like it. Hmm, having to look out for another person, making sure he has his clothes, he has his makan and he is is happy, sounds like a lot of fun. Of course BH does the same for me lar, and so it's even more fun!

Yup, I'm getting can anyone tell me where I can enrol for cooking classes for dummies? Especially ones who can burn water?

The ring

Well, we met up with Wendy, our ring designer last night. this time, she showed us something we both liked..something unique. It's definitely different from what you can buy from Poh Kong or any other jeweller. Unfortunately, it was still a wax model and so, Sunshine, we don't have any pictures of the rings yet. Rest assured, once the time is right, there will be pics on the blog...hehehe.

Today is another busy day...have to go pick up the sari. Was also supposed to pick up my dress from this designer who coincidentally has his boutique close to Wendy's. However, said designer is super busy, and my fitting has been pushed back again, to Saturday. Am crossing my fingers and hoping both outfits fit well and look good.

Have to go look for flowers too today. And tomorrow, tie shopping for BH..I'm sure there will be much more to do as well.

Suddenly life has gotten pretty busy...

Stairwells function in many ways. One very obvious one is as a smoking joint. Never mind that there is a no smoking sign, that's where one should drag on a's common knowledge, the sign, is actually to point out where one SHOULD smoke, not where one SHOULD NOT.

Second function of a stairwell, is as a make out joint..especially dark, secluded ones. If you wanna hide your amorous adventures, that's the place the do it. After all, them smokers wouldn't bat an eyelid, they're just there for their nicotine fix, not for the entertainment. If doubtful, carry on in areas FAR from the no smoking sign. An occasional irritated dentist might walk by and advise you to get a room...but that doesn't happen in all stairwells.

One other use for the stairwell is as a place to take a can have lunch ( while having a smoke) or even take a short nap. Just be mindful of the occasional spit that these smokers leave behind as a legacy. Again, when in doubt, stay clear of the no smoking sign.

I guess that's it..oh wait, stairwells are also useful for one other purpose, going up or down floors..but then, it's hardly used as that, so...shouldn't even have mentioned it.

Mrs.BH to be..

Having spent the most part of my life being referred to as Ms., and for the past 7 years Dr. ( and even being called "the conservatively brought up" Ms./ Dr. ST by Shan), my new title rolls off the tongue easily. Though I have no legal right to it yet, soon, people will start calling me Mrs. BH...or Dr. ST-W, which actually has a nice ring to it..hehehehe.

It will take getting used to, but that shouldn't take long. It's the getting used to being married that might take a while. As anneh has put it, gone are the days of absolute freedom. It dawned on me yesterday, what that means for me. Gotta say, am a tad overwhelmed and afraid. But heck, it's gotta happen, sooner or later. I will have to flee the nest, right? Shucks..I've been such a pampered kid. I wonder if I can accustomed myself to being someones wife, someones daughter in law and later, someones mother. I really dunno. I do know that all this is a part of life, part of the circle, part of being alive. And with this knowledge, all I can do is try, one foot at a time..make the mistakes, learn from them and hopefully manage well enough. Geez...I blame anneh for this epiphany...hehehehe.

On a happy note, BH and I met with the jewelry designer yesterday. She'd come up with a design for us, pretty cool, but we improvised on, can't wait for it to be finished!!!

Been wanting to post about this for a while now, but my thoughts have somewhat been been busy with all the wedding preps..oh, and facebooking ( c'mon people, scrabulous challenges still open..) Anyway, back to rumours.

I find it rather interesting the way rumours can change the way we feel and treat people. It's amazing how many female stalkers there are in the almost seems like any single female around the age of 30, who enjoys a particular class has been branded "crazed, deranged and stalking". And its really easy to believe such rumour, particularly if the rumour monger is someone we trust, hold high esteem for and popular. Reminds me of high school..but I guess this scenario plays out in every level of society, even at work. Oh and Shades, don't worry, you'll still have your stalker..BH will carry on ...after all, he's not female or single, so it really doesn't end for him.

Of course there are also other rumours flying about..something about making friends for their connections..but hey, wait a minute...that might not be a rumour after all. Many people do that, don't they...isn't that what happens in pubs and golf courses all over the world? Or have you heard about that cute guy in the gym, you know, the player..the one who just wants to have a good time? Wait a minute..I heard he's getting married..hmm...rumours.

Some rumours can be dangerous, though most are harmless enough. Trouble is, it's like a Medusa, rumours, chop one off and another one grows in it's place. I guess the best is to ignore...and when you hear someone go "Psst..have you heard"...well, listen but make your own judgements.

Monday, November 19, 2007

And so it begins...

What started out as a simple ceremony, where two people put down signatures on a blue piece of paper and then legally call themselves married, is now..not so simple. Heh.

Yeah, getting married is BIG thing. BH and I wanted it simple, straightforward, but out parents decided otherwise. Well, maybe it just hasn't sunk in yet, that we only get to do this once, so might as well get it done right, right? I appreciate everyone effort, I mean, it is sinking in lar..and so it should be special, so our parents are right.

So, our simple registration is now enhanced with a few ceremonies and at least one reception. There's the actual official Putrajaya on Monday,December 10th( gosh..only 3 weeks away)..anyone free to come join us, please feel free, but let us know, cos we're hosting a makan after that. My dress, the one I got from designer Keith Kee is ready, and I have to go for a fitting this Sunday. Crossing my fingers I haven't put on any weight since the measurements a month ago.

After that is the "simple" tea ceremony..for BH's parents and relations. Of course if there is a tea ceremony, there will be the other ones...which I'm not sure of, but apparently I have to make myself scarce one weekend as BH's parents will be coming over for some ceremony or other, and which I'm not supposed to be around. Oh, and the tea ceremony bit? I'm supposed to brew the tea to be, the girl who can literally burn water ( My brother swears he's seen me do it). Gotta buck up on the cooking bit, I know.

And for 3 days after, I can't go home to my folks place...the home I've called home since I was born..yikes! When I do return home, on the 12th, since I'm officially Hindu, and my dad wants things done right, BH and I will be going to the temple, for a simple blessing ceremony, complete with saree and his Indian baju...hehehehe. Oh, did I mention the wedding garlands? Thankfully we've done away with the "thali" bit, otherwise, I'll have a yellow string tied around my neck for the rest of my life. And we decided that if there is a "thali", there will need to be the wedding pyre...and hence, we might as well go for the whole Indian wedding shebang..which I have vetoed against. Why? because I think it's not fair on BH, who actually wanted a church affair, but gave up the idea for practical reasons. Though secretly, I wish someday he'd get his wish of a church maybe a reaffirmation ceremony later?..

And speaking of my Indian side. My dad felt it's necessary for us to have a reception for the Indian relations, at least to inform them of my long delayed and anxiously anticipated nuptials. ( It's been long awaited since I turned 21, I think, and thats a looooooong time ago). So, there will be a makan too..Indian style..the cards had to be rushed too and they have to be sent out too..aiyoyo! So, there will be 150 people, by my estimate, trudging into my tiny little house, in about a months time..

Then, there is the chinese side. Grand aunt and grand ma have been waiting a very long time too, to drink tea ( every CNY I get the usual threats of last ang-pows, etc), the dinner thing is a must! The chinese wedding dinner, that is...also BH has many relations that have been waiting for him to belanja after all the stuff this year, we have to plan for a dinner next year. ..thankfully, everyone's agreed not to rush this, especially BH's parents, who feel, like we do, that we need more time to plan. Phew! Anyone got any ideas on where's a good place to eat? When it boils down to good food versus ambiance, ie restaurant vs hotel, BH and I pick good you didn't see that one coming? So, any suggestions, folks?

Can't wait for tomorrow..we get to try out our custom rings...hehehehe.

It's finally hit me...sort of.

Almost a month ago, when we decided to do this, it didn't hit me. I was excited, but it didn't hit me. When we drove to the registry, sent in our applications with the appropriate mugshots to be put up, it didn't hit me.

Went to a designer to get a dress,( well, though its just the civil registration, it is still LEGAL and there will be PICTURES and heck, I wanna look like I'm getting married), it didn't hit me. In all fairness, did not get the whole bridal gown thing, more of a nice simple befitting dress, so maybe that's why it didn't hit me. When we went to get our rings designed, it didn't hit me...well, maybe cos it's not done yet, we haven't seen the mock up and so its not as real...but last night, it hit me....

We were at an old school mate's dinner...the company was great, apart from catching up, counting the number of kids each couple has and bitching about some class mates ( We found out that one is a Dato' and another is a loan...I mean "financier"), I finally realised, its happening. I'm getting hitched!

It started a good 8 years ago..well maybe 10 if we count the one of the 19 year old...but one after another, my single, childhood friends, school friends, people I grew up with, all bit the single hood dust. They all got hitched. It was like a band wagon sort of thing, with one couple starting it off ( They now are in the lead with 2 kids already of school age) and as sure as the sun dawns in the east, others followed soon after.

Many years and countless dinners with the parents and inquisitive friends asking "whens your turn" later, we've finally reached the point where the ones who aren't hitched are few. So few, we can count them off in one hand. Gotta say, I thought the pressure would be immense, but now everyones focus has shifted to "How many kids you got?" and being still officially single, I can get away from these questions.Heh.

But last night, sitting next to BH, it hit me, we're doing it..well, legally anyway. In about a month's time, if all goes well, I will legally be no longer single, no longer solo, no longer a lone ranger...I will be legally married to BH, I will become a part of a couple, a duo, a half of another person, and I can't imagine being that with any other person other than BH. Yea, it's hit me.

As for the dinner, hoping to make it better than "just another wedding dinner", we're hoping that all you flers who just can't wait to drink with us to be patient, your summons will's all in the planning. It might be a year later, but as sure as the sun sets in the west, it will come....hehehehehe.

It's 3 days to Deepavali, probably the last I'll spend truly at home. Come Christmas, I won't be living at the home I've called my home for 30 plus years. I guess it's inevitable. It's all part of life, right? Well, now the the time is near, can't quite say I'm prepared for the move. But move I must. This is what must come when one is to be an adult.Move.

Of course the change comes with good tidings as well. As I've heard someone say, marriage is always a good thing and there never really is a bad time to get married. single days are soon to be over. So too are BH's. Our journey continues, together, come what may.

The truth about not blogging

Of late, we have all been bitten by the Facebook bug..and yes, I'm an addict. Why is why, the post about Melbourne is not gonna end up reading fodder for you folks out there...hehehehe. eh, have you seen recent updates on my links either? EVERYONE ( except maybe Eric) has been smitten by Facebook..

The other reason ( it's not an excuse, seriously!) is I really have been busy...the time away from Scrabulous has to be filled in with ACTUAL WORK. What pays for my bills, right? Oh, and with Deepavali just round the corner, a move in residence also coming's been busy.

Not to busy to play Scrabulous, if you wanna...lets lay with words, eh?

Tuesday, October 16, 2007

It's been quite a busy time for me. Its also going to get a whole lot busier. Was supposed to post up about Melbourne, but just couldn't find the time to, especially to upload the pics. Will post when I can actually find the time..heh. In the meantime,do check out the links...

We got into Sydney at about 2plus am, checked into the Y and ended up zzzzing until afternoon. We then decided we were hungry and headed of on foot to Chinatown.

After a wonderful Yum Cha, we walked about and explore Paddy's Market...Sydney's version of Petaling street.
Bh looking at wigs, wondering how he'd look in the long blond one. I think he'd look "blond"...heheheh.

Nightfall is early in the southern hemisphere ( Bh can't open his eyes...) and before we knew it, we were hungry again...And so a visit to a Sydney icon ensued...Harry's Cafe de Wheels..must say, the dogs here...superb!!! We visited twice this trip, tried the pies and dogs and seriously, they were good!!! Later we explored the harbour at was cold...even the locals found it cold..and I thought I was the only one freezing my @$$ off!Dinner was at Tony Roma's...the pics of those lovely baby bare back ribs have mysteriously disappeared..another good wonder we both came back heavier!
When the next day dawned, the plan was to drop by the fish market, then off to the Blue Mountains...but BH and I, we wanted our seafood for lunch and so we had our lobster, prawn, fresh succulent oysters ( yummy), mussels, scallops and fish...fuiyo! Sedap!!!!We finally made it to the Blue Mountains...and took a pic, with the Three Sisters...the sky was an amazing blue.
Day 3 saw us visiting Bondi...nope, didn't see any nudies..

And of course, a must do in Sydney...the Harbour Cruise!!!You must experience the wind blowing into your face, distorting it...oh, it's clean, unlike the Penang ferry experience. Opera House being our lamp post

How else to see beneath the Harbour Bridge? And of course, we went to the Aquarium...these flers were just lepaking on the walk under and around a huge tank with huge, and I mean HUGE fishies swimming all around. Underwaterworld Singapore...pah!

On our last day in Sydney, we left early for the Fish Market again, Bh wanted to try the fish, steamed...I wanted my Lobster Mornay...more pics on facebook. By the time we reached Canberra, it was almost 5...Floriade was on, so Canberra had turned into a mini Keukenhoff..

Oh, we found time to goof around, before the long drive to Melbourne

More pics on Facebook...and next...Melbourne.

Day 3

This was our last day in Queensland on the agenda was a visit to a farm...its more of a vacant lot of land behind the Movieworld studios, off M1. So, it wasn't a working farm, more of a show farm, really, for us tourist types..

And here we have the two Malaysian tourist, taking pics of themselves on the tram into the farm...note Japanese writing in back..

I had to have my pic taken with an Australian Icon...and hence the KOALA! BH was staring at the Koala's paws, which seemed to be grabbing something it shouldn't! Luckily it was a female Koala..

My startled expression at the kangaroo feeding from my hand! It had a very, very fuzzy mouth...hehehehe, ticklish! and white sheep...this fler was called Jazzie

And here we have the sheep, the girl and the cowboy who asked" The guy with you is your dad, ain't he?" Hehehe...BH was NOT pleased!!!

But at least he got some cow to flirt with him too! Dunno what it is bout BH, the cow just loved licking his hand!
And the cowboys showed us their stuff....

After the farm thingy, we decided to head into Surfers, walkabout a bit and ended up here...on the 77th floor of Q1, the tallest residential building in the world, 20th tallest structure in the world. It's 79 floors have apartments, which I'm sure cost amounts I cannot begin to imagine, cos this is one of the views!

Breath taking, ain't it?

And here we have the tourist buying stuff from Coles, for our 10 hour plus journey by car to Sydney... More, in the next post....

Back to work..and BC and BS

Am gonna take a break from blogging about the trip, cos the pics are with BH. It's back to work for both of us and its tough breaking out of holiday mode. Mind still stuck on lepaking..hehehehe.

Anyways, Bh and I made it for Shades class Tuesday night. He must have missed the lurve...cos he was starring at BH the whole night. Who's making doe eyes now, ha? Kekeke. It was a good class, as usual, but both BH and I were still kinda tired and kinda sluggish. The body is also on holiday mode. Plus with the "extra baggage" we were carrying around..gosh. Dunno how we managed to move at all.

Shades has a newbie on stage with him..Adrian. Hehehe...newbies..Bh had fun making his faces. Guy must think Bh is retarded or something...hehehehe. As for me, I was tired, didn't wanna push myself, so I used the "I don't understand your cue" look to get out of it. Heh...sorry Shades. Adrian was good, I think he'll be ok next Tuesday...wonder if I can pull the same stunt again? Better not, lar huh?

BS on Wednesday was also a sluggish day for me. Bh went for RPM and almost passed out at track 7...two weeks of not doing anything other than walking and sitting in a car has taken its toll. to lose the extra baggage like this?

The trip Down Under, Part 2...still Queensland

Day 2 down under...for Bh and I, our itinerary was where this big fella lives... Yep....Seaworld...

We reached a little too late to catch the dolphin show, but we did catch the dolphin feeding time...they were soooo friendly, constantly swimming close to get a better view of the people watching them...hehehehe
What was in Shark Bay? Sharks lar...duh!...You can pay extra to go swim with them...but for easy meat like us, we gave it a pass.We didn't spend much time at Sea World, mainly because we wanted to meet up with Andrew and Michelle, and drive up to the Sunshine Coast, which was about an hour plus away. We wanted to get there by 5, when everything shuts down. We made it to Strawberry Fields, where we could pick our own berries..we opted to buy, but cam whored a bit.. The strawberry looks good, didn't it? Didn't taste as nice though...heh.

Also at the Sunshine Coast...the BIG Pineapple.. a working pineapple farm, which was closed, as we got there past 5...still, nice pic with the pineapple,no?And on one of our last stops at the Sunshine Coast, Moolloolaba...say it with me...Moo-Loo-La-Ba...hehehe. Them Aussie's have funny names, don't they? This place is a beach side area, lots of apartments and vacationers here. Nice place to visit...

Next post...SYDNEY!!!! ( And the 10 hour plus journey there). Oh..and before that, the visit to the farm, where the cowboy hits on yours truly..heh. Will upload pics on facebook...fitting them all here, a bit susah ler..
