6 Weird Things About Me

Bugger...got tagged by Pickles. Damn it woman, you moved down not 1 day and already getting busy with blog. Now got time la?

RULES: People who are tagged should write a blog post of 6 weird things about them as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says ‘you are tagged’ in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

Weird no 1: I don't think I'm weird, I'm normal, the rest of the world is weird.

Weird no 2: I talk to myself...when I need to work out some problems, yea, I mumble and make hand gestures, sometimes in public...most of the time in my car.

Weird No 3: I am virtually unable to swear ( Shit and bugger doesn't count). I can't say the F word out loud, I cringe when someone else does. Though I say it all the time in my head!. Ask anyone, they've never heard me swear...

Weird no 4: I have a thing against Indian girls. Nope, not racist, cos I am after all Indian...it's just they freak me out, most of them. They are like crabs, gotta pull anyone who dares climb out that bucket down. Gotta agree with Gobi-huang on this one...he doesn't fancy em either.

Weird no 5: I hate sluts...especially the two office ones. One married, the other engaged, but both fooling around. one with men many years younger. Oh, and both Indian...see? Does this count as weird though?

Weird no 5a: ( In case no. 5 doesn't count) I'm partially obsessive compulsive. E.g, if I blink one eye, the other has to blinked at the same pressure too...if not,I'll repeat the blinking until its the right pressure. Wait...this isn't weird, its crazy...oh well.

Weird n0 6: It's my way or the highway...have to do things my way, other way cannot. Even if my way is wrong...I don't care! IT HAS TO BE MY WAY.

So there...who do I have to tag? 6 people? OKla...shades, faz, uv, fb, choowie and YouKH

Diner Dash 3 : Flo on the go

Recently, my life has been busy, akin Diner Dash, a game by PlayFirst and Yahoo!. The latest version being DD3 : Flo on the go. In this game, you take on the character of Flo, a waitress who has to seat, take order, serve and then clear tables of diners. Also, she has to deal with people, all sorts, from bookworms to babies. And when its done too slowly, the diners get upset, their heads fume and eventually they will leave.

Suffice to say, Flo has a very stressful job. In fact, playing said game is stressful. I really dunno why I do it, since I'm just as stressed and as busy as Flo at work. Perhaps I can empathise with her, since I face the same situation, with patients in the place of diners. So if you wanna know what it feels like in my shoes, click on the link, go ahead, I dare you....try the endless shift version, cos right now, my life sure as hell feels like one!

BC 31 Round 2

BH and I decided to skip the launch and first few classes of BC 31, expecting large crowds. It proved a good move, cos by the time we actually went for round 1, most people had already done it and didn't get in our "newbie" way. We were disorientated a bit lar, first time mah.

Anyway, yesterday we managed to drag ourselves over to LM. Haven't been there for a while myself and was surprised to see so many people. Mostly newbies save for one or two kungfu masters. More about those later. FCI came in launch gear, complete with karate outfit and shoes. Dunno what Sunshine was raving about, caught no sign of any "cleavage", but then, FCI did adjust his outfit the few times that it slipped. Must be conscious about it already lah. Perhaps he should wear a sports bra, ala Crystal?

Well, BC31 grows on you la. Intensity wise, one can curi tulang a lot, but if you really put in the effort, the sweat will be there lah. Music wise, I like bad name", since I'm a huge Bon Jovi fan, but otherwise, not as inspiring as the previous releases. The only challenge is the double roundhouse and the evasive side kick- jump kick combo. Otherwise, yet another passable release.

Back to the kungfu masters. Of late there have been a few in LM. People who think they are kungfu masters, i.e by adding their own choreo ( adding jump knee in warm up) and executing moves in what they think is "stylish" . Sad to say, they come of as American Idol auditionees...delusional. Almost can hear them shout "I'm the next BC Master trainer!". Oh well. To each, his own.

Also made many people think BH has massive lips and suction power...went for massage and "cupping" on Saturday, with the bruises very visible on Sunday. My back currently looks like piece of polka dot material...no...maybe more like crop circles of red-blue. Though covered nicely in my office wear, a bit of the bruises peek out from under the collar. My nurse must think I was into some randy action with BH last night. Hopefully they go off soon.

Sweet like chocolate

Been so busy lately doing an average of 3 root canals a day, mostly molars with 3 or 4 fine long canals. So finally decided to take a break and headed off to 128 Faubourg ( Sothys) for a facial. This wasn't any ordinary facial though, it was a chocolate one.
Sothys facials have so far been great, the therapist knowing just the right amount of pressure to use, the steamer not to hot /wet and the extractions tolerable. Plus the back massage ...very nice!!! But this chocolate facial is seasonal, so I decided to give it a try. They use a chocolate mixture to mask, and the choc is supposed to be an antioxidant. It smelt like really good Belgian chocolate and that really must have relaxed me, cos I dozed off. The only downside is that it increased my craving for chocolate and hence I rushed off to Haagen Dazs and bought a pint of choc ice-cream.
Overall, great way to relax...but my back still hurts from work...off for a massage today. This one will hurt, but should make me feel better after ;)

Short ( NO RELATION TO ANY BC INSTRUCTOR)

Heard this on the radio today:

Secret to a successful relationship
For women : Understand a man a lot and love him a little
For Men: Love a woman a lot, don't try understanding her at all

Hehehehe....kinda true, must admit that we women can be difficult to understand, being the more emotional more irrational of the sexes. What makes perfect sense to us is sometimes rocket science to men. Amazing how we actually get together after all, with all these differences.

Also heard on the radio today that it's "Make someone happy day". Ok, today I resolve to make MYSELF happy! Yipppee!

Have a good one people!
